From covering civil wars in Southeast Asia to ever-more relevant global heath issues, Robert Semeniuk has dedicated a lifetime to spreading stories worth telling.

Background
For over 30 years Robert Semeniuk hasbuilt  a reputation as a world-class photo journalist and documentary writer within Canada and abroad. In spite of an impressive CV and his professional experience, Robert’s brand and marketing communications had been lacking for many years. Armada was commissioned to help guide Robert through a rebranding and assist in positioning him appropriately within the field of photo journalism and story telling.

Approach
Following a review of Robert Semeniuk’s work and competition, we crafted the positioning statement “Stories Worth Telling”: speaking to both the unique significance of his subject matter as well as his desire to transcend the narrow category of ‘photo journalist’. We developed a clean but bold brand identity to support this message and an engaging website to better showcase his visual work and written content. In order for Robert to more effectively acquire funding for future projects we also developed a communications print package for potential donors and sponsors.
